DENBIGH HIGH DOMINATED THE “Scientific Research Council” COMPETITION

Denbigh High completely shattered the other contestants in the Scientific Research Council Oratory Semifinals on November 16, 2017. The competition included participants from Lennon High, Clarendon College, St. Mary High and York Castle High School, yet, taking first place we have Daniel Burke, Junior Deputy Head-Girl of Denbigh High School with 49 points scored of the 60 available.

Demoy Lindo, President of the Denbigh High Student Council, followed in second with a score of 45.  Placing third with 39

points was a young lady from St. Mary High. “I was nervous at first”, Daniel said, “But I was confident in my abilities and made a decision not to fail. The top three participants, consisting the dominating duo from Denbigh, will advance to the Nationals in February of 2018.
